Frances Rodriguez Ramos, MD

Frances Rodriguez Ramos, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Miami. She is an attending physician in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and practices primarily in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She also serves as an attending physician in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.

Dr. Rodriguez Ramos graduated from Ponce Health Sciences University in 2018. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she completed her pediatrics residency before coming to Miami to complete her pediatric critical medicine fellowship. After graduating from fellowship, Dr Rodriguez Ramos joined the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine as a faculty member and clinical educator. She is a member of the UM/Holtz Pediatrics Bioethics Committee and has presented at the South Florida Pediatrics Bioethics Consortium.

Her research interests include pediatric clinical ethics, health disparities and patient advocacy.
