
Dr. Melissa Fellman is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She is triple board-certified in Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Clinical Neurophysiology, and previously served as Program Director of the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship.
She serves as a Longitudinal Clinician Educator (LCE) and leads the Ethics and Humanities Pathway for medical students. She also teaches a recurring Phase 2 course on the history and complexities of brain death—one of her primary interests, along with neuropalliative care.
Dr. Fellman was selected for the American Academy of Neurology Palatucci Advocacy Leadership Fellowship and is a member of the Jackson Memorial Hospital Ethics Committee. She will begin a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Health Policy, with expected graduation in 2028.
