2026 Miller School of Medicine Ethics Symposium

The Medical Ethics Symposium is a medical student driven event that allows for open discussion about pressing ethical issues in the healthcare sphere. Our 2nd annual symposium featured podium presentations and posters by medical students who explored a variety of real-world ethical challenges and engaged in robust discussion with fellow medical students, faculty, physicians, and ethicists.

A special thank you to the students who worked hard to make the event possible and to the faculty who participated as judges. And congratulations to the winners of best poster, Devarsh Desai and Laura Wild, and best presentation, Shashank Madhu and Briya Patel.
