The Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy advances global research ethics and integrity through comparative scholarship, education, and collaborative governance initiatives. Working with universities, governmental agencies, and research organizations—particularly across Latin America, the program strengthens ethics review systems, builds institutional leadership in ethical oversight, and supports context-sensitive approaches to responsible research.
Its scholarly and educational efforts address key issues such as authorship and accountability, data stewardship, and the ethical use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in health and scientific research.
