WHO Collaborating Centres for Bioethics (CCs) are key institutions with relevant expertise in a particular area located all over the world. The University of Miami is one of those key institutions, designated a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre in Ethics and Global Health Policy in 2008, at the time, the third in the world.
The Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy has initiated a professional development certificate program in partnership with institutions around the hemisphere. The program aims to develop high-quality workshops and symposia for health professionals, researchers, and students.
