The Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine invites faculty members with a commitment in bioethics to join the Institute’s Faculty Affiliate Program and contribute to the advancement of its four-fold mission of education, practice, research and service.
For nearly a quarter century, the Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy, formerly known as the “The University of Miami Bioethics Program” has provided education to medical and science students, hospital clinicians and the community; has pioneered and supported research in new technologies; and has advanced the rigorous application and practice of health care ethics. The Faculty Affiliation Program seeks to integrate and foster collaboration between a diverse groups of scholars with similar interests as we continue our goal of advancing the Institute’s mission of becoming the leading institute in the practice of bioethics.
Eligibility
- All UM faculty members and faculty from other local, regional and international institutions are eligible to apply to join the Institute.
